The Print Features for
the Site.
Recommended Print Settings.
The following settings are recommended for your browser print settings
to successfully output any of the Web pages to your printer.
- Set all margins to whatever settings you prefer.
- Set scale to 100%.
- Include any header and footer elements that you wish.
- Set the print background settings to either ‘on’
or ‘off’.
- Set the print color settings to ‘color’,
‘grayscale’ or ‘black and white’.
The Print Output.
Any printed Web page of the site is printed in a linear format with
minimal color and without background images or color.
This method produces the cleanest output across the various browsers,
reduces ink consumption in print for the end user, allows the greatest
flexibility for the end user within their default printer settings and prints only
the relevent content of the Web page.
Footer information such as the Copyright Notice, General Menu,
ICRA
and Accessibility links content, will print in its entirety on the
last two pages. The last two pages of any print output of this repetitive content
can be excluded from printing by specification within your print parameters.
An Example of Print Output.
If or when exacting print specifications are needed for any
Web content, an Adobe PDF
document can be used for that purpose.
